The Inspiration:
Botanical stasis. We sought to archive the humid silence of the Water Lily House at Kew Gardens—a controlled glass environment where exotic aquatic specimens exist in perfect stillness. It is the observation of surface tension immediately after rainfall, where water beads on a leaf without breaking.

The Design:
Fluid dynamics in gel. Hand-blended pigments of translucent teal and blush pink create a suspended watercolor effect. It is not merely a painting, but an "aqueous gradient" that holds light in soft focus, blurring the physical boundaries between the submerged and the surface.
